Each Biennale is made possible through committed and generous private donors who assist in making each ambitious exhibition a reality.

Already the 18th Biennale of Sydney: all our relations exhibition and program are taking exhilarating shape. The inspiring curatorial collaboration of  Artistic Directors Catherine de Zegher and Gerald McMaster will deliver a groundbreaking Biennale and reinforce the importance of our ongoing contribution to the cultural landscape of Australia. We are committed to developing audiences for contemporary art; international cultural exchange; and increasing understanding and appreciation of the important role art plays in society.

To achieve our goals, the Biennale of Sydney requires the commitment of individuals like you who value and celebrate what we do.

All donations* enable the Biennale of Sydney to:

• keep admission free so that it can be enjoyed by all
• commission new projects by some of the world’s most innovative artists
• develop and promote Australian art and artists, nationally and internationally
• expose Australian audiences to the best international contemporary art
• promote tolerance, mutual understanding and international cultural exchange
• expand our education program for young people and build arts education through our public program and publications.

Supporters enjoy exclusive access to the exhibition, the artists and visiting dignitaries, plus networking opportunities with like-minded individuals. Support of the Biennale of Sydney’s activities can be made through a range of levels and donations are acknowledged in Biennale publications, on signage and our corporate and exhibition website.
