The Ishibashi Foundation was established to promote educational, cultural and artistic activities. Since its establishment in 1956, alongside the operation of its museums, the Foundation has been supporting school and organisational activities and projects which promote education, art and internationalisation.
Embracing the challenges of the 21st century, the Ishibashi Foundation is developing new projects centering on entrepreneurship, humanistic causes and internationalisation, while reinforcing its tradition of reliability and solid reputation.
The participation of Japanese artists in the 17th Biennale of Sydney (2010) was made possible with the assistance of the Ishibashi Foundation.
